Streamlight TLR-2 HL LED Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

Already have 2 TLR-1's and I thought THEY were bright until I got this thing! WOW! This TLR-2 HL went right onto the Glock 21 go-to gun and the TLR-1 went onto the Glock 30 back-up gun. That leaves one extra TLR-1, so it went on the Mossberg 500 Pump. Knock Knock......Who's there? Nevermind, I can SEE WHO's THERE! This light is blinding. If they can't see you, they can't hurt you. Well worth the $$$. I own lesser lights and I own SureFires. Since I'm retired LEO, these should hold up just fine. Never had any problems with Streamlight switches others have mentioned. The green laser is a nice bonus.

BRIGHT! Almost too bright in a close quarters situation. Reflection on glass, mirrors, gloss paint, bare metal may be disorienting to the user. I was surprised the light is only a 630 lumen. I had assumed all HL models were 800. Thankfully it was not 800. Using this in laser/light mode its clear to see why it was designed at 630 lumens. Anything brighter would wash out the laser footprint.

Excellent light!!!!!!!!It's very bright and has a rock solid feel when attached. It lives on my duty Sig 229 DAK, this light is amazing!!! super bright has a strobe feature as well. money well spent in my opinion

Bright light. Strobe is easy to trigger. Doesn't have a permanant strobe on function which is surprising but not limiting.

Keeps laser alignment after firing.

Awesome light it lliterally lights up a 14ftx14ft room like the sun. Blinding at 30ft in the daylight.The strobe is crazy too. It is an epileptics nightmare. Temps where good. The lazer is super bright too. I tested it in noon and it still marked the target at 40yrd. Best deal around and super fast shipping. Customer for life !! Thanks. Alot!
