I bought this hat for a trip to Cambodia that I took last week. The hat fit well, was incredibly comfortable to wear, and held its shape well despite being drenched on a number of occasions by rain and waterfall. The only downside to this hat is that it is HOT. Its material does not breathe very well (I know, that is a result of its being waterproof). But damn, it made my head feel like it was in a Dutch-oven when the sun began to beat down upon it. When the clouds were out, the hat felt great, but once that sun came out, my head felt roasted like a Hawaiian pig.

If your head is size 7 1/4 or larger its going to be very tight. I loosened all the ties but that didn't help. I didn't see any way of expanding the size. Poor quality control on sizing, everything else looks top quality.

This hat arrived at my doorstep the morning I left for the duck club. Good thing, because it rained both days on us in the blind the first day was called short due to a thunderstorm and heavy rain. This hat didn’t skip a beat, it kept my head absolutely dry. Now I have better peripheral vision than with my Gortex hood.

This hat will definitely keep the Sun off as well as being waterproof. I'm 7 1/2 in the head and had plenty of room for adjustment, fits perfect; once adjusted, with the lace provided, and tied off once properly fitted. Excellent quality material and sewing. My hat came with a rubber keeper for chin strap, which I thought was a good touch of quality for water proof.

Good Price, Good Quality. Came designated as a "Medium Size" rather than "one size fits most", but luckily for me it fits my knucklehead. And the broad brim, wind/water proof, and adjustable "stampede" strap should serve me well in some anticipated galeforce winds and rain.

I really like the size of the brim and the material. It feels like a rip stop or other non cotton material that should be strong and last a long time. I’m very happy with my selection and with the first couple weeks since unboxing.

I love being out in the rain now, the water just beads off. Have yet to use it in a heavy downpour. Only negative is sizing, I have a small head so it sits a bit funny, so if you have a big head it will fit you well.

I wear a 7-1/4 and had plenty of extra room. Very well built. Nice wide brim that seems like it'll be rigid enough no to flop around in the breeze. Haven't had it out in the rain yet but can't wait to test it out.
