While not truly American made, at least American materials are used. That aside, the hat that I got seems to be pretty well constructed, with the exception of the chin strap, which amounts to a really pathetic excuse for paracord. The biggest complaint that I have is that they are only available in a hand full of hat sizes, which means that for some of us it's a choice of either too big or too small--I opted for too small, anticipating some stretching over time. Unfortunately, their sizes seem to run considerably smaller that regulation hat sizes, so my 7 proved to be uncomfortably tight. Fortunately, through careful application of an Irwin reversible Quick-Grip bar clamp I was able to stretch mine to a perfect fit. Keep in mind that while this may work, it is very easy to go too far, and either make it too big or damage the hat--use caution.

In the end, I am happy with the cap, but I wish they would have been more accurate in their sizing.

I love the bigger feel , size and shape retaining brim, the leather tightening chin strap clip (as seen on the advertisement was received with a flimsy plastic spring clip. the spring clip quickly fell apart. that is the ONLY thing I wasn't happy with . over all the cap is GREAT and highly recommended.

I just love the quality of this hat, i have a couple different colors and i can't say enough positive things about it. Whether i'm on a hunt, fishing, doing yard work or taking the kids to the beach these hats are the best. they aren't the lightest material i warn you but when a little water comes down i know i'll have some time before it gets completely bogged down and they have a small inner sleeve to hold any type of paperwork you might need to carry while fishing or hunting or maybe you just wanna carry your license and a credit card or cash without the wallet. it works beautifully.

ordered this with the condor shemagh.. And well the brim is advertised as 2.4".. Tha'ts real, real close to 2 and a half inches..Its barely 2". And where the seam comes together in the back of the hat it doesn't line up at all. its at least off by a 1/4". I could live with the hat.. I do like the color.

Size fits perfectly, exactly as shown in the pictures, it's comfortable, seems to be waterproof, I wore it all weekend. I absolutely love black multicam, wish the company made other attire in the same camo. I have a tactical jacket that matches it perfect. Do not regret the purchase one bit! Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Out of the box it is exactly as advertised for color and type. Fits a little bigger than typical. Typically a 7.5 is a little snug for me. This one is a little loose but exactly were I would like it if it was all about me ;-). Pretty sure my head isn't shrinking...We will see what the next ten years holds

Love the hat but I feel the patrol cap is a more accurate color of what I got. Make sure you go up a size as they run a tad bit small. My hat size is 6 7/8 so I purchased a 7 and I probably could've went up to 7 1/8. I soaked it in water, stretched it out, and now it fits well.

This boonie is great crushable,durable ,size was a perfect fit I tossed it in my Jeep and it goes along with me everywhere,it's also easy to wash as well as repels rain water and sunshine and the color is perfect for a midnight coyote hunt or fishing at my favorite spot.

the atacs is awesome camo much more natural than the multicam and much more apt to make me the invisible forest ninja in any airsoft match. just wish the velcro for the name tags and patches was already sewed on but that is menial compared to how sweet these are.

As a lifelong hat wearer. I wear my hats every day for fashion and for sun protection I've owned many quality that's including Tilly and Dorfman and Pacific but this is my first Boonie hat good quality for the Price and very rugged I highly recommend it
