I purchased 2 of this pant in size 8 long because they were the only place I could get this color in stock in my size. I have 8 pairs of these pants in different colors. I am 5' 6" and weigh 155 pounds. I think they fit true to size. I do roll the cuff up once, but the regular lengths are too short for me. They keep their shape, do great in the wash, although with many many washings the darker colors will fade some. I haven't had any pocket curling on any of them with repeated washing. Light rain/water will bead on them and so far every stain has come out easily and they do not require ironing. They fit my curves and they really do give a flattering rear view - not a saggy drawers fit at all. Finally, I have found pants that are not dude-pants disguised as women's. I wear them for 11 hour shifts and they look just a great at the end of the day as they did when I dressed in the morning. Extremely comfortable. The thickness is perfect for days that aren't too terribly hot. The transaction with the website was quick and easy and I had my pants in just a week. I have had to cancel orders for 5.11 stuff from other online stores who show they have a product in stock but it really isn't, and then they will keep pushing shipping dates out. I will buy from here again because of the easy and quick transaction.

I am a 5'2",115lb female w/a small waist and larger hips/thighs and have trouble finding comfortable, functional pants that either don't feel tight/inhibit movement in the hips or aren't huge in the waist. I got a size 4 and there is a bit of wiggle room (but I figure if I gain holiday weight, no harm no foul). The waist lies approx 2" below my bellybutton (instead of the annoying/uncomfortable "mom pants" fit of being on/over my bellybutton). The length is a bit long, but I have short legs (my inseam is 29"). These pants have great storage potential for phones, multitool, carabiners, walkie, etc. that I need to carry on my person w/o having hindered movement/maneuverability. My only complaint is that the cargo pocket inner slash pockets make it difficult to store items quickly/one-handed in the larger cargo area w/o them getting wedged trying to fit into these small pockets. Otherwise, great pants!

Get one size up of what you normally get! (I did, and it was a very close fit) I like a little room in my pants though, so if I bought again I would get two sizes up from my normal. (e.g., I am normally a 6. I bought a 8 in this pant and it was a VERY SNUG fit. Next time I'll buy a size 10)
Nice amount of pockets, there is no gap in the back belt area. I'm a woman with a large rear and large thighs, and this fit proficiently and accentuates curves and looks attractive. Also, the waistline is a good height, going just on or above the hips. Awesome!
I got the burnt color. It is more of a dull-shimmer brown-dark red, (not so much shimmer), slightly different than pictures, but I still like the color a lot.
Will by again! (When it goes on sale ;) )

I bought 2 of these pants in size 8 after returning to work from maternity leave. As I am getting back into shape I have bought another 2 in size 6 and again in size 4. For sizing reference: whatever size I am I have a small waist and carry most of my weight in my butt and thighs, but am NOT pear shaped, just thicker in the quads/ glutes.
These pants are relaxed enough to fit COMFORTABLY at true size. Meaning, I am a "fitted 4" in jeans and these 4's are a relaxed fit. A bit of room to spare at hips and thighs. Because I am more narrow at waist I do have gapping at the top, nothing a belt can't fix.
I am 5'6" and the length is perfect, a bit extra at the bottom so they don't ride up on my boots.
LOVE the fabric, so easy to wash and wear. Very durable, no wearing or fading.
The design is amazing. BY FAR the best work pants I have ever owned. They look great and allow for a full range of motion. The pockets are genius, organizing pockets INSIDE the cargo pockets, small pockets for knives, tabs on the front of the belt loop for a badge. Awesome.
Bottom line: buy two or more, thank me later.

The sizing was ok, im 180lbs, 5'9" and fit in a 14 long. I do like my pants to go over my boots a little, so no problems there. I wish the pockets had better accessibility, most of my gear (ie.. pens.. gloves.. knife..etc) is a pain to access in a hurry, I like the old style better, loops with Velcro over the pockets. But the new strech fabric fits better in the hips/waist and buttocks. It has the stretch a woman needs. Overall, I'd buy them again for now. I'm hoping that EMS pants in the future for women, realize we have hips and a waist, not like men.
Hope this helps ladies!

I've tried on many tactical pants but this one seems to fit me the best. I know some say it sits low on the hips but I have a short torso so it fits me just fine. The tundra color is nice and the material allows for easy movement. The only thing is, there is a significant difference between regular and long. I'm 5'5" and the reg was too short so I sent those back and ordered long. I had to have the pants hemmed because they were really long for me. If your between sizes definitely order a size up. Other than that I am pleased with these tactical pants. I know I will be purchasing more.

Have several pairs of this pants. Always order one size up from my regular pants so I have room in the pockets for everything I need. Need a belt to hold them up but that is fine by me. The Khakis pants in an size 8 are baggy as well as the Black ones. The Storm color is my favorite but they run a little snug. I ordered a green pair in the pants and I could not even zip them up. The green and the storm came in the same order so that is why I a disappointed that they do not fit like men's pants. If it is 36 x 34 then men's pants are consistent. Why should 5.11 make you guess and then make you try different sizes just because of color? Great pants wear them for everything but when you have to mail order pants and they aren't right it just makes work for everybody if the sizing is wrong.

The pants could use a higher waist, too low for me. If you have muffin top, these pants aren't for you. Nice color, comfy material, strong material, but again, too low waisted. I'm not trying to wear hip huggers/low waist pants. That look is unprofessional.

These pants are not only incredibly well constructed, they are also very stylish! In fact, I love them so much that I bought them in every color!

Re size: I am a true size 8 (5"10) and the 8 longs fit perfectly. The regular size seemed shorter than most regular length pants, so I'd recommend the longs unless you are pretty short.

The only very minor drawback is that the Velcro makes getting in and out of the pockets (which I need to do constantly) difficult. And honestly, there are just to many pockets in pockets, which may be perfect for you depending on your needs.....

Overall, they rock!

Love how these fit me. For size reference, I'm 5'7" 120 pds and ordered a size 2 long because the regular has a 30" inseam. I purchased these in Khaki, black, gray, and navy. You can't go wrong with the khaki color but the rest tends to lose its color. I've only had them for 1 year but after a few washes in cold water, they look and feel like they're 5 years old. Wished the darker colors lasted longer because these pants aren't cheap. Love the style, low-waist fit, the multiple pockets and the two front tabs to place your badge and pager. I give this 5 stars for fit but only 2 stars for quality.
