I was excited to try combat boots made in women's sizes (yippee!) but was disappointed by these. I am a thin woman (5'7, 120 lbs) with fairly narrow feet. I ordered my normal size (8) in these and the length was fine; however, they were SO tight around my foot that I couldn't even lace them. Even with the laces completely slack, these were incredibly tight across the sides/tops of my feet - as in, I could barely get my feet in them and once I did, they were just throbbing. I've never dealt with this problem in combat boots before (I guess because I usually just get men's boots?) and I was afraid to try to break them in - basically because I wasn't entirely sure that problem would get better. Sent them back. I'll go back to my men's Rocky boots. :/
